During the Acura project, we had the pleasure of working with the band Metric to help develop custom stage lighting and props for their 2011 US tour.  One of the pieces we created for them was an acrylic LED drum kit.  The lighting within the drums responded to the rhythm, each hit of the drum causing a pulse of light.

The drum kit toured with Metric throughout the summer and was picked up on several tv appearances of the band.  It was both robust and beautiful, able to withstand the rigors of touring yet capture the imagination of the audience at each stop.
