‘Digital Vegetables’ by PARTY

← Back to Blog

The design studio PARTY created the digital greenhouse, Digital Vegetables, to promote agriculture in Midtown Tokyo. Each of the seven plants in the installation had an assigned instrument that the visitors could play when they interacted with the different plants. The interaction between the visitors and the plants created a unique audiovisual experience.

“I recorded the sounds created with actual vegetables. Then, I mixed them with the sounds of orchestra instruments on the computer to make 7 melodies.” – Excerpt from the Digital Vegetable’s website
