Apophenia is an installation by Team IF that uses 16 lamps of their own design paired with video. The installation was shown for the first time at the BAM Festival in Liège. The title, Apophenia, comes from the psychology term for creating connections and meaning to unrelated things. The visual component of the piece draws the viewer to create their own patterns and connections to the content Team IF intended to have no meaning.
